Dear Friends:

On November 3rd we ask you to elect four new School Board directors who are committed to fiscal discipline and to excellence in student education. Our tax dollars must be spent wisely.

Brucie Rapoport, Rob Armstrong, Doug Blazey and Lydia Solomon are the team whose election will create the majority of directors necessary to enact needed policies that represent positive change for the District.  We are committed to maintaining current class sizes in the face of tight budget constraints.  We call for a Curriculum Audit of our schools to make sure students have access to those courses essential for their future, and to avoid redundant school expense.  Our leadership team will attract and retain the finest teachers, make the best use of new technologies, and promote a well-rounded curriculum that delivers a superior education to all students.  We are committed to integrity and transparency on the Radnor School Board.  We want your input on educational issues.  Everybody in Radnor has a stake in the success of our schools.

Strong schools make strong communities.  We are invested in the success of Radnor Schools.  The four of us have eleven children ranged in age from five to twenty-seven who attend or have attended Radnor Schools.  We have the perspective, experience and leadership needed to accurately evaluate our schools and to determine the difference between necessity and waste.  This is an essential skill in today’s financial environment.  We understand the many issues facing the School District during this time of uncertainty.  We offer our combined experience as current leaders in the District, educators, civic leaders, legal experts, business professionals, and financial managers.

This election is about protecting the quality of our schools, fiscal discipline, openness and transparency in governance.  Every person who lives in Radnor Township wants their tax dollars spent wisely but we also want our children educated for success in this ever more conflicted and competitive world.  We need your help and ask for your vote this coming November 3rd.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Leaders for Radnor Excellence
